Ambrosiodmus opimus

Biology: 

Wood, 2007: The type was boring in a liana 3 cm in diameter. Rabaglia et al. 2006: This species was described from the holotype collected at light in 1951 and has not been collected since then. Wood and Bright (1992) state that it is probably introduced from another continent. It is likely that it never became established. Among North American species, its appearance is most similar to A. lecontei.
